Each Voice In Mail customer receives an 800 number with an extension. Your extension is your link for when people want to reach you.

After they call the 800 number, they key in the extension number and the VIM system will call all your phone numbers and connect you to the caller.

This saves the caller form trying all your numbers to contact you.
